Baby on Board Instruction
Being in such a confined space as an airplane with an infant can be a challenge. To aid you on your travel we created instructions, tips and tricks. These will be distributed via a card on arrival in the airplane. For a quick preview click here.
Meals
We recommend bringing your own baby food. Any restrictions at the airport on bringing liquids do not apply to your baby food. On intercontinental KLM flights, we have only a few special baby meals available. These are free and do not need to be ordered upfront. Every 0-2 year old receives a free Bluey bib.
Essential Baby Products
To make you extra comfortable we created a package with essential baby products to be used in the airplane. Just go to our shop@KLM and we will deliver the package right on your lap in the airplane. Also you can buy on this same spot special headphones for your child to control the noise around him or her.
Baby-phone
As you might want to close your eyes and listen to music during your flight but do not loose sight of your baby we can provide a portable travel baby-phone. Reserve one at MyTrip.
Entertainment
On both European and intercontinental KLM flights we allow the use of various types of portable electronic devices, such as handheld games and tablets. You just need to set your device to airplane mode or switch off the cellular service.
